After a hearty breakfast, your personal guide takes you to the Giza Plateau to marvel at one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Great Pyramids of Giza, along with the iconic Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Following lunch at an authentic Egyptian restaurant, continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum, located just 2 kilometers from the Giza pyramid complex, before returning to your hotel. An early transfer takes you to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan, where a representative meets and assists you before taking you to visit the majestic Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddesses Isis and Hathor, and the massive Unfinished Obelisk, still resting in the ancient stone quarries. A representative picks you up from your Aswan hotel by modern air-conditioned coach for a small-group tour to Abu Simbel. Afterward, you're escorted back to Aswan to embark on your Nile cruise.

Your tour manager picks you up from your Amman hotel after breakfast for the roughly 2.5-hour drive to Petra, Jordan's largest attraction, first established in the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs. Walk the 700 meters to the Siq entrance, a striking 1,200-meter-long gorge with walls rising more than 80 meters, before emerging to the breathtaking sight of Petra, a recognized New World Wonder. From there, take a 1.5-hour drive to the Wadi Rum protectorate, a vast desert landscape of canyons, cliffs, sand dunes, and ancient rock carvings made famous by the film Lawrence of Arabia, before returning to Amman.
